Born on 9 February 1977 in Gaya to a renowned business person of our area Janab Abdul Hafeez, I have always strived for higher education and hence after doing B.A.(Hons.) in Urdu I nextsecured a first class in M.A., Urdu, and then further went on to achieve my Ph.D. degree, all from Magadh University.
I started my teaching career of lectureship from Chandrashekhar Janata College, Gaya, in the Department of Urdu in 2003. In 2013, I joined the Post-Graduate Centre, Department of Urdu, Mirza Ghalib College, Gaya, as Assistant Professor and still continuing.
I have been associated with the Urdu Daily Pindaar as a journalist and have established my excellence in the Shayariand Ghazalareasalso, whichare aired on All India Radio, Patna.My Ghazals have also been published in NayaDaur (Lucknow), AajKal (Urdu, Delhi), Sab Ras (Hyderabad), Kitabnuma (Delhi), Zubaan-o-Adab (Patna), PaalikaSamachaar (Delhi), etc.I cannot forgo Prof. Taj Anwar who blossomed my prose and poetry endeavours and whose useful, informative tips helped me a lot in the early stage of getting into Ph.D. platform. He is the person who motivated me towards journalism and cheered me up when I stepped into this field.
